3. Program Matrikulasi Satu Tahun (PST):
Pelajar yang memperoleh 1.5 ≤ PNGK <  2.0 akan diberi status gagal dan 
ditawarkan untuk mengulang Program Matrikulasi Satu Tahun (PST).


4. Program Matrikulasi Dua Tahun (PDT):
i. Pelajar yang memperoleh 1.5 ≤ PNGK < 2.0 gagal kali pertama 
dibenarkan meneruskan pengajian ke Semester III dan diberi 
AMARAN.
ii. Pelajar yang memperoleh 1.5 ≤ PNGK < 2.0 gagal kali kedua atau 
PNGK < 1.5 akan diberi status gagal dan diberhentikan daripada 
pengajian.


5. Calon-calon yang ingin membuat rayuan semak semula keputusan boleh 
merujuk syarat/ peraturan semak semula keputusan peperiksaan.

Matriculations' Life #1

Assalamualaikum and good evening everyone. It is the last night before going to Japan for a week. * I talk like I'll be going for years. Well, it has been 5 months since my last update. Yes, I was extremely busy as hell. Only God knows. He knows how busy I was till I couldn't open this blog *but still alive and kicking on Twitter. Heck yeah.

And yeah, Twitter is my current obsession, it is the microblog and it is where my ideas are being put. I tend to abandon this blog till I have been called to make a post about Matriculations' life of mine.

So, how are we going to start this thing? Hrmm. Well, I'm gonna make this simple. Insha Allah, so this could be a simple guidance to all my juniors who made their decision to enter Matriculations. First of all, I would like to congratulate you guys for choosing Matriculation as your path for Pre-U level. Don't distract with the bad views of this program as this is the best foundation ever in Malaysia as well as STPM.

This is where I used to take my Matriculations. Yeap, it's under my MARA. My (?)

Moving to our first point:

WHAT IS MATRICULATIONS?
I'm not gonna give you the definition of this program, you might as well can search for it in Wikipedia. But I am going to give you guys the overview of this program.

Starting my batch, 2011-2012 for Science Course, there are 3 Modules.

1. Modul 1 - Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Physics
2. Modul 2 - Chemistry, Mathematics, Pyhsics, Computer Science (NO BIOLOGY)
3. Modul 3 - Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science (NO PHYSICS)

I took Modul 3 and yeap, no physics. If you wish to be a doctor, you can choose Module 3. You gotta 'pulon' all the way as this program only takes 1 year for you to struggle. Every assesment is counted. 

Here's the tips. 

SHUT UP! I'm paying attention!

• Pay attention in class - which it is like impossible for you to always pay attention cause your life is not about studies always, we may have to face some problems in our life, so I suggest you guys to bring along some sweets or snacks to cheer yourself up when you are about to 'syahid'

Stop procrastinating man!

• Don't ever skip tutorial exercises - here's to the people who might not knowing what the heck is tutorial.  They are the exercise books that are arranged according to the syllabus. If you never fail to do it every night, after your lecture class, I bet you guys can score in every assessment.

Sat ja wey nak studi, setahun je nak penat. Lepas tu, hang berseronoklah, tapi bukan nya syok sangat pun

• Glance through the syllabus and notes before entering lecture classes. - sometimes the lecturers can be so fast and furious. They might sometimes just read the slideshows without considering our comprehension. I suggest you guys can watch the McGraw Hill's animation on their website. *Google it, you'll know it. Especially in Biology Class.

Practical hours - time for you to show who's the MAN yeahh haha

• There will be lecture hours, tutorial hours and practical hours -  i ) I think you guys dont have any problems with lecture hours. So we are going to move to the tutorial hours' explanation. Tutorial hour will be held in a small class and sometimes maybe in the lecture hall. Depends on your lecturer. During these hours, dont forget to bring along the tutorial exercises. The lecturers are going to discuss the questions.  It is likely same as the tuition class during our school years. And yeah, dont be passive, man. I'm tired to give you these tips if you guys still want to be lazy during Matrics hahahahahaha. ii) Practical hours are the hours that you guys can do experiments under the teachers' supervision.  Dont worry, there is a manual book. Follow the instructions right there, and Insha Allah you'll be safe.

Tok sah dok buat haghu lagu ni. At least sebelum tidoq, glance through kalau malas sangat weh. Sekilas pandang ja!

• Dont procractinate. NEVER. Once the orientation week ends, you gotta pull your socks up! I think there'll be a book sale at the college. Last time, my college had it. Buy the reference books that are good such as SAP ( most preferable by me) SUCH AS CLONED PAST YEAR (SAP) - MUST BUY! AND MUST READ TOO!, Q&A (OXFORD FAJAR). If you think it's kinda late to wait for the sale, you can go straight away go to POPULAR BOOKSTORE at the STPM section to find the books.

REGISTRATION DAY

So, my next point is about registration day. Why is this important? Yes, cause it dictates who are you going to stay with for a year! This is how it goes. If you want to easily get adapted with the surrounding, you must come and register with your friends together. YES TOGETHER. Then, you guys can be place in the same room or near to one another. This can ease your stuff of getting adapted and less culture shock maybe.  Dont forget to bring along the documents that the college had asked you to bring. For MARA students,  you gotta prepare an essay. About why you should get MARA scholar. Blablabla. Just follow as it has stated in the form. 

REMEMBER TO READ OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND MAKE TRIPLE CHECKS ON the things that you should have.

DRESS CODE 

During class hours 

- Baju Kurung, tudung for girls . Just be simple. Dont have to be so Yuna or Hana Tajima

- Shirts and slacks for boys. Yeah, the simple, plain shirts are recommended.

After class hours  

 - SUKA HATI HANG NAK PAKAI APA, JANGAN SAMPAI MENCOLOK  MATA and sampai orang jalan pun langgaq tiang habeh. Senang kata tutup lah yg mana patut ye.

Dress code can be changed according to the college's terms and conditions. NOTE THAT.

Oh ya, shoes for classes are bertutup and PVC or leather ones are preferable.

So yeah, basically these are the foundations that you need to know when you step your feet in the college. I'll always pray for your guys' achievement as our success are important to our society and our religion. 

Please, don't ever give up in chasing your dreams. Keep close to ALLAH Azza Wajalla. Rant everything to HIM when you face difficulties and sadness. Cause you found the ease one day, Insha ALLAH!

Insha Allah, I'll update Matriculations' Life #2 once I touch down Malaysia in a week's time. I'll tell you guys about the examinations and assessment in details. * See how diligent I will be. o.O

Setelah penat menulis panjang lebar, dari mula dapat tau kena g plkn, tetiba fikir balik, "i'm not gonna do this".

Jd, sy nk simpulkan dua perkara pasal PLKN, especially to those yang akan ke PLKN, if i may. Dua perkara yang paling saya risau bila dapat tau kena pergi PLKN. dua perkara yang buat my happy memories become not so happy lah.

AURAT. dan IKHTILAT.

allow me to use "akak" in this post from now until the end, for im focusing to share it with my dearest sisters in islam.

AURAT.

Adik2, tau kan pergi sana nnt kena masukkan tudung dlm baju?

Bila akak buat keputusan untuk TAK ikut peraturan tu, and people are looking at me, akk rasa mcm "Syaza, this is so wrong. buat mcm ni tarik perhatian org lagi ada lah." ... but what can i do? Antara arahan Dia dan arahan JLKN.. xboleh nk tipu diri sendiri. This is me, this is what I believe. When I believe that Allah suruh labuhkan tudung ke dada, I believe in that. tarik perhatian tak tarik perhatian, i'd rather tahan n biarlah apa org nak cakap.

So my advice is, stick to what u believe is right. Apa yg org nampak pelik, xsemestinya salah dan apa yang org nampak normal, x semestinya betul.

Tapi, if you can't seem to find enough strength alone, here are some tips

• GATHER STRENGTH. Ada lagi pelatih2 yang satu fikrah dengan adik2. Kumpulkan. Gerak gi jumpa komandan kem, mintak korang nak pakai tudung kat luar. Tapi, frankly speaking, Tudung dia sangat kecik dan sangat pendek, korang pakai kat luar pun sama je macam pakai kat dalam baju. Tapi if korg dr keturunan yg badan kecik molek, it'll make a very BIG difference.
• So, if korang still nak pakai tudung kat luar, MAKE SURE u bring one or two tudung bidang or tudung labuh bulat, doesn't matter, as long as cukup untuk memenuhi syarat bertudung ikut syarak. Sebab akak akhirnya dapat kebenaran utk pakai tudung lain kat luar, DENGAN SYARAT, BERWARNA BIRU. tapi ini semua bergantung kepada komandan kem jugak. DOA ITU PENTING.

• Amik baju yang saiznya lebih besar dari saiz yg kebiasaan adik2 pakai. Untuk baju kelas dan baju celoreng, akak rasa x jadi masalah sebab bajunya x body-fit. Selamat untuk pakai tudung kat dalam, insyaAllah. Tapi baju sukan dia yg warna biru tu, WARNING, sangat mengikut bentuk.
• Bila dah ikhtiar ambil saiz besar sekalipun, if u still feel this is not right, it is up to you untuk jaga. NEVER WALK ALONE. jalan dalam kumpulan, and hide selagi boleh.

• Amik baju untuk lelaki. I mean, baju yang dikhaskan untuk lelaki. So apa beza dia? Baju utk wirawati ADA LISU, AS IN, ikut bentuk. Masa nk ambil tu, dorg akan ckp "pastikan kamu ambil baju untuk wirawati, jgn ambil yang wira pnya"..korang abaikan je, mintak je amik baju utk laki. they said, "ye la, nnt kamu komplen pulak baju gelebeh, xnampak bentuk." i was like, WHAT..? then i said, "kalau sy nk amik bju laki jugak?" "KAMU NAK? suka hati kamu lah" ... so my point is, baju lelaki xde cutting and therefore xde bentuk. ambik yg tu.

• DO NOT GET INFLUENCED DENGAN "INI ADALAH ARAHAN"... Ada permainan2 yang arahan dia suruh bukak socks. Alasan? Takut lantai licin n takut jatuh. Tp tgk2 xde apa sangat pun, x lasak mana pun. Kalau korg berani, main je pakai socks, kalau x berani, korg ada pilihan untuk tarik diri dari game tu. The choice is in your hands.

• TARIK2 BAJU SUKAN. Lepas dapat baju tu, korang stretch la baju tu bg dia jadi seluas alam. yup, mmg benang akan tertetas, xleh wat apa, dah tarik3 bgi cekang mmg la tertetas benang tu..

• JANGAN HANTAR DOBI. dobi cuma buatkan baju adik2 lagi kecik adalah. please, avoid hantar dobi utk baju sukan tu. baju lain xde masalah kot. tp sepanjang akk kat plkn, akk cuma pernah hantar dobi baju celoreng sahaja..

IKHTILAT.

dalam kelas CB, (Character Building) korg akan duduk dalam satu grup yang bercampur bangsa dan agama, which is not a problem. DAN dengan lelaki, which IS a problem.

Therefore my only tip for this is,

• BRING ALONG YOUR BAG, WHEREVER U GO. bawak beg, bila2 masa, di mana jua. tujuan? Katakanlah korg terpaksa duduk jugak jugak tepi lelaki, letak beg tu kat tepi korg, it works as an amaran yg ckp "stay off." hahah. no, seriously. Akk x bawak apa sgt pun dalam beg tu, but i brought it wherever i go, sampai kawan2 tegur.. "Diyanah, kamu ada letak apa dalam beg kamu?" .. "Wey , Syaza, aku nk tgk sikit benda pa hg bawak p mana2?".. i'd say, ur bag can help.

oh there's another one,

• BE EARLY. bila kita masuk kelas awal, kita dapat decide utk duduk tengah2 antara kawan2 sejantina yang berlainan agama, so secured place, insyaAllah.. Ada kawan akk, dia ditegur oleh sorg kawan non-muslim. dia ckp "kenapa u takut sgt nk duduk sebelah lelaki? diorg bukannya nk makan or baham u. Kalau diorang raba u, u cakap je dengan i, i'll save u." ..... heee.. Not many would understand y, tapi tak rugi kalau kita explain kenapa.

Then, aktiviti2 fizikal, macam senam seni, ada wira yang menggedik nk duduk belakang wirawati. Kalau korg teringin sangat nak join, make sure u are no way near the boys. Cari tempat strategik. Kalau diorang ke selatan, korg gi la ke utara. Kalau dorg ke timur, korag gi la ke barat.

dan, org ckp standard utk CINTA PLKN. "-.- .. Kalau korg kategori hotsetap, mmg besar kemungkinan utk org "try".. my advice, tolong tolong tolong tolong lah rasa diri ni mahal.

tu je. the rest, mesti boleh fikir sendiri kan..

OH!

Aurat dengan non-muslims!

Ok. Ada dua pendapat.

• Satu kata mmg aurat kita dengan diorang sama dengan aurat kita dengan lelaki ajnabi. Therefore, kena tutup aurat all the time lah.

Kalau korg pilih untuk cover 24/7, akk doakan korg kuat.

kebaikannya, insyaAllah kalau ada CANDID PHOTOS, ur aurat is SECURED.

• Then, ada yang ckp selagi kita yakin xkan berlaku fitnah, boleh longgar, tapi sekadar yg patut je, jgn tunjuk lebih2. "-.-

KEBURUKANNYA, ada kawan2 yg amik gambar kita x menutup aurat dgn sempurna, n upload kat fb.. blogs.. sedih kan? penat2 kita jga, jadi mcm tu. nauzubillah. and make sure u tell them yg the guys cannot know how ur hair looks like. ok?

As for me? Akak tengah2 lah. Akak bawak tudung licin yg satu lapis untuk pakai dalam kawasan penginapan. Akak xpakai socks, akk sinting tangan.. Ustazah pernah ckp kan, "Tidur lewat drpd dorg, bangun lebih awal".. mula2 akk rasa mustahil, tapi yup, it's not. Once dpt arahan lights off, bukak tudung. n esoknya, bangun utk persiapan subuh. The non-muslims mmg JARANG-JARANG la nak bangun awal, so ur safe there if u choose to cover 24-7.

• Boleh bersentuhan, xbatal wuduk.. Walaupun aurat sama macam dgn lelaki ajnabi, tapi boleh sentuh.
• Ada kawan akk yg igt xboleh sentuh, n masa sorg kawan akk yg nonMuslim demam, dia mintak kawan akk check, dia ckp "eh! sy x boleh sentuh awak!" masa tu muka kawan akk yg nonMuslim tu dah laaaaaiin sangat, dia ckp "maksud sy, sy dah ada air sembahyang, nnt batal." .. cepat2 akk ckp "eh, boleh la. xbatal, xbatal.." n sengih. hoping that dia x terluka. hee.

• Makanan. Kalau korg kena time festive seasons, balik dr cuti dorg akan bawak biskut, kuih muih semua. I'd say, yakinlah makanan tu halal. Melainkan kalau diorang bgtau siap2 diorang bawak benda yg haram kita makan.
• Bak kata pakcik, "kawan2 kamu tau lah apa yg kamu xboleh makan.. diorang pun faham sensitiviti kamu.." .. kuih diorang kuih beras, biskut yg mmg dlm paket biskut, yg jual open n halal. Diorang faham, insyaAllah.

n akk igt lgi, ada one of my Chinese friends dia bagi ktorang LAPAN bijik buah oren. n ada yg tanya dulu, "Kamu boleh makan x ni?" .. "Bukan apa, ada org melayu (note : Melayu selalu disinonimkan dengan Islam) takut nak makan makanan Cina.." masa dia ckp tu, i felt SOO WRONG, KESIAN. ada Muslims yg terang2 ckp xmau makan, xjaga perasaan kawan2 kita yg lain bangsa n agama. Apa2 yg korg buat, igt perasaan org lain, igt apa yg Islam ajar. Tolaklah dengan baik kalau xberani sgt pun. Never hurt other people.

Ambillah peluang ni utk terangkan apa yg kelam. Contoh, "Oh, ktorg boleh je makan buah2, sayur semua.. Kuih-muih pun boleh, asalkan xde arak, babi..etc" .. xyah la terang fikrah dalam2 sgt dengan segala term2 bahasa arab. make it simple, but understandable for them.

• Persoalan agama. Boleh kata ramai jugak yg tanya mcm2 pasal agama Islam. be prepared. tolong lah, toloooonng lah jgn jawab "saya pun x tau sgt pasal ni.." kita kena cuba lah sedaya usaha utk jawab soalan dorg. That's why, jgn ambik mudah pasal agama kita. Antara soalan yg popular is poligami n aurat. Ambik lah peluang ni utk bgtau dorg the real deal behind all these.

• Majoriti non-muslims tak tau POLIGAMI tu BERSYARAT.
• Majoriti non-muslims tak tau perintah bertudung melepasi paras dada itu UNTUK SEMUA MUSLIMAH, dan BUKAN hanya utk yg BERSEKOLAH AGAMA SAHAJA.
• Majoriti non-muslims tak tau kita kena cover everything from head to toe melainkan muka dan tapak tangan. Kawan akk Zhie Sxian pernah tanya akk, "Muslims boleh pakai baju sampai sini eh?" tunjuk ala2 lengan 3 suku..
• Majoriti non-muslims igt apa yang kita buat, itu yang Islam ajar.

*yes, mmg dorg akn guna MELAYU instead of ISLAM, please do CONSTANTLY REMIND THEM YG XSEMUA MELAYU ISLAM DAN TAK SEMUA ISLAM ITU MELAYU*

"Bukan Melayu, orang Islam lah, kavita.. boleh je, mcam kalau perempuan, time dia period, dia boleh je nk warna kuku.. rambut pun, kalau warna tu bukan kalis air, boleh. tapi wajib lah tutup dgn tudung jugak utk perempuan~"

"oh.. habis yg artis2 tu?"

"er.. dorg dosa lah, kalau diorang tau tak boleh tapi buat jugak."

"Eh tak takk. sama je.. Dlm islam, semua org kena pakai tudung tutup dada~ Saya pakai tudung ni sbb lagi praktikal, sarung je.. Kalau nk pakai tudung bidang, nk kena buh kerongsang lagi~ kan dah susah..kita kejar masa...yg penting, pakai lah tudung apa pun, as long as it covers ur chest."

kita nk ke gambar kita masa aurat x terjaga sepenuhnya diambil, then diburn then dijual then dibeli then ditonton oleh kawan2 kita yg berlainan jantina? tak nak kan.

Tu je kot. Saya mintak maaf kalau post ni ada mengguris hati dan perasaan mana2 pihak.. Sekadar berkongsi pengalaman ..

Well, semua ni pengalaman peribadi. Pengalaman masing2 berbeza kan. So, PLKN? INI CERITA SAYA. =)

OH. OK. Aliaa said i made PLKN sounds so bad. TAK TAK TAK. ok je, insyaAllah selagi kita tau what to do, insyaAllah.

best sebenarnya. U get to know friends of different social background, races n religions, kenal budaya org dgn lebih dalam , blajar bahasa baru, etc. DAN, dapat meningkatkan stamina, insyaAllah. hahaha. U will get to share roomssss bg yg x pernah duk asrama, like yours truly, experience rush hour utk tukar2 baju utk aktiviti2.... rush hours utk basuh baju. haha..

Yes, you will miss your plkn memories, of course.
